Dial M For Murder is Frederick Knott's classic murder mystery.  This psychological thriller, which has inspired numerous movies including Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 classic which he and Knott co-adapted, has been touted as one of the most brilliant stage thrillers ever written.

"Dial M For Murder" is a carefully crafted and absorbing cat-and-mouse game that keeps the viewer's attention all the way until the end. The story begins as retired tennis pro Tony Wendice attempts to carry out a plot to murder his wife, Margot. When things go wrong, he is forced to improvise while facing a battle of wits against Margot's American boyfriend and the meddling Inspector who struggle to pin down the truth.
