Fresh from La Grange, the "Diesel that Did It" is poses in Chicago for photo before heading out to "prove" to U.S railroad management that there is a better way.

Lashed up in A-B-A fashion, three new EMD Chicago & North Western "F" units make their way on the Belt Line with a long freight in the summer of 1948.

A pair of E-7 units get ready to pick up their passenger train and head out from Chicago.
