In the past 6 years, I have taught High School Business Education in some of Wisconsin’s largest school districts.  For the past three years, primarily computer classes based on MS Office.  Currently, I am working on Illinois teaching certification for Business/Marketing/Information Processing.  I will keep my Wisconsin certifications (Comprehensive Business Including Notetaking and Business Office Coop).

I have a Masters Degree in Business Education from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater (2003) and a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (1986).  I was honored in the National Dean’s List in 1986 (UW-M)  and 1994 (UW-W).  I earned placement on UW-Milwaukee’s Dean’s list most of my years there and graduated Cum Laude.

Most of my working career has been in sales and marketing.  I owned my own insurance agency in Mequon for 4 years.  This gives me a “world-of-work” orientation that many students find interesting.  I like my students to know that their education and well-being is important to me and that I am there to share business experience and skills.

My hobbies include:  jazz guitar, rail fanning and model railroading, reading, learning  computer software applications, and creating things with my computer.  Right now, I am having a lot of fun developing this Web site.  I have enjoyed creating all the material presented here and spend many hours each week putting together projects for my students.

I consider my computer lab a school's "in-house" publishing shop.  Students appreciate that I take the time to make bright and cheerful handouts just for them.  The page layouts of these handouts really engages them.  If you would like to know more about me or share experiences and ideas, please contact me at - it would be fun to hear from you!
