Computer technology changes rapidly.  The districts that I have taught computers in have not been able to purchase up-to-date materials for student use.  I have strived to keep myself as current as possible and continue to create handouts that reflect TODAY'S technology trends.  For my Web Design class, I have created a newsletter I call "Today's Computer Integration."  Each issue addresses basic principles of Web design.  Here are a few:

Sample Webs.  Here are some Web pages I created for my classes with MS Office.

Internet Basics.  I like to use the World-Wide-Web as an up-to-date classroom resource.  This approach is especially effective for technology classes.  This review of the Internet is based on a good Web site I found.

Web Publishing.  Compares and contrasts traditional publishing with Web publishing.

Web Colors.  While traditional publishing is built on an expensive to produce reflective color model, Web publishing is based on light.

Graphic Files.  Let's look at some basic concepts about graphics on the Web.

Chunkify.  Writing for the Web is an application of technical/business styles of writing.

Copyrights I.  Here is a primer on copyrights.

Copyrights II.  Copyright issues for Web designers.
