My LMC Web: Library
Skills Podcast
 Sharing
information and technology skills if important. Its also
fun - especially when you use today's Web technology to do it!
Talking about technology is important, but showing students that
educators are also life-long learners committed to supporting
students is even more important. Here are some of the
videos I share with the classes I see in my library media
center. I hope you can use them too!

My LMC Web: Picturebook
Podcast
 I
enjoy sharing early literacy skills with children, the building
blocks that we use to become readers. Here are some of my
favorite picture books - presented in a video format.
There are not animations - there are the real books, read the
way I share them with children in my library media center.

Mr. Breitsprecher's Beginning Algebra
Web
 I
created my "newsletter" Algebra Connections to give students
the organized notes that are shared in class. I want students
to succeed and I work hard to do what I can to support their
studies. NOTE: I am
not updating this podcast at this time, but here it the final
feed with all of the "newsletters" I have shared with my
students and continue to share with many hundreds of others
around the world.
I have created these "newsletters: to review fundamental
algebraic concepts and procedures and to suggest online
resources that might be useful in developing mastery of
algebraic skills. Be sure to check out the many resources and
links at

Bill Breitsprecher's Guitar Music
 Here
are some samples of my music - I am using medium gauge
strings, round-wounds for D and G, flat-wounds for low E and
A. This is what creates the separation between the bass lines,
chords, and melodies. These are all "straight takes", no
editing and no effects other than reverb - I wanted you to
hear the way it would if we shared music in the living room.
The mix is optimized for CD players, some computer speaker
systems may not handle the full tonal spectrum. On a computer,
these probably sound best with headphones.
I started out releasing audio files in MP3 formats, compatible
with all computers and portable media devices.. Lately,
I have started to use music videos in MP4 formats so that the
files are compatible iPods and Zumes. This is not a
common format for computers, so I have posted Web-streaming
versions (.flv with embedded player) at
My Guitar Music page.
